DEEPENING SCENERY UK Tour 2010

A musical and visual journey through the unique world of Overlap. Dream like locations populated by obscure archive characters playfully mixed to atmospheric electronica.

Overlap will be touring Deepening Scenery around UK arts venues in the new year. The show will run between 30 and 90 minutes: 30 minutes for sit down theatre venues and extended versions for more informal venues/bars/outside stages.

26/02/10: Slipped Disco presents UFO: Big Chill HouseFree before 10pm, £5 after 8pm - 4am

All night live visuals by Overlap

Slipped Disco's new bi-monthly DJ and live club night, UFO, spins back into orbit with seminal guest DJ Justin Robertson alongside Milo Smee, co-founder of psychedelic acid funkers Chrome Hoof. Joined by critically adored My Toys Like Me playing live,and Kan't - bringing their improvised set to the top floor, turning the upstairs of BCH into a live dance floor. Resident DJs Ben Osborne and Horton Jupiter will be keeping the night awash with wigged out grooves.

BFI/ Noise of Art:   To launch Noise of Art's collaboration with the BFI, E A Dupont's silent British classic "Piccadilly" from 1929, starring Anna Mae Wong, was given the Overlap treatment to a nu disco soundtrack by Les Hommes du Train earlier in the year.  Soon to be released on Noise of Art recordings alongside Vector Lovers and A Man called Adam's re-scoring of the 1912 documentaries "Day in the Life of a Coal Miner"  and "Visit to Peak Frean and co's Biscuit Works"
